BJ'S RESTAURANT & BREWHOUSE

Once again STUDIO McCORMACK was asked to lend their restaurant expertise to the Westfield Century City Mall. This time it was a reinterpretation of the classic BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse. The upscale, urban setting called for the design to be a highly detailed, warm, contemporary decor that exhibited a high energy, fun and family-friendly dining environment. The focal point of the space is the monumental bar with 40 beers on tap and a 103" plasma television. The design features highly textured tiled columns and walls along with a fully opening perimeter storefront joining the interior dining seamlessly with the outdoor gathering space. The exterior is dominated by a color changing upper glass curtain wall that can transform the look of the restaurant for any season or event. All these elements together add up to a forward thinking modern twist on a BJ's restaurant.
